25 visual novels

This is not a top chart, just a list of visual novels.
Don't expect any special surprises here. Read and click, click and read.
The visuals are different, but the essence is the same.

1. Straight!? (Download)
Student anxieties and suffering. It's a classic.
5 out of 10 points.

Space marines and hypertrophied limbs.
Fun and amusing.
5 out of 10 points.

Fashionable and stylish post-apocalyptic setting.

5. Luis' Fun Trip to Steedhaven (Download)
They actually want to make money off this...
2 out of 10 points.
6. Sons of Jungle (Download)
A game by the artist Gabriel Homme. Yes, it's a visual novel, but it's damn beautiful and so popular that after version 5, the author now only releases updates for money. Let's wish him luck.
9 out of 10
7. Freshmen: Physical Education (Download)
They try to diversify the plot, but all the effort goes into the visuals.
7 out of 10 points.
8. Bound by Night (Download)
The inspiration for this visual novel seems to have come from the Twilight saga.
7 out of 10 points.
9. Finding Buddies (Download)
The only visual novel on this list that I can recommend without hesitation.
The characters are well-developed and easy to empathize with.
9 out of 10
10. Cloud Cuckoo Land (Download)
I wouldn't call this game a visual novel—it's more of a psychological horror. An extremely unusual genre for games of this type.
9 out of 10
11. DILF Chronicles (Download)
Snow Surfer Games has long had an army of dedicated fans. I personally don't quite understand the appeal.
7 out of 10
12. School Basket Buddies Game (Download)
You'll be doing anything except playing basketball.
7 out of 10 points.

A visual novel about the importance of teamwork, well, you know what I mean...
7 out of 10 points.
14. Wand Out (Download)
You've received a letter from a magic school, but it's not Hogwarts.
6 out of 10 points.
15. Medieval Times (Download)
A visual novel about how hard it was to live in the Middle Ages or not so hard.
8 out of 10 points.
16. Contact (Download)
From the creators of the game Journey... they should have finished Journey instead.
5 out of 10 points.
17. New Hope (Download)
From the co-author of the game Straight!?. You'd better download Contact.
2 out of 10 points.
18. The Life of Me (Download)
A very typical representative of its genre. No miracles or surprises.
2 out of 10 points.

19. Indebted (Download)
The game was released in May 2024, and since then, the developers have kept us stuck in the prologue. What's there... we've already seen it before.
5 out of 10
20. TwoSides (Download)
By the time I'm writing this, the developers at Greono Games might have already patched the game, making it unrecognizable from its current state. It's a gamble, but will you be willing to take it?
7 out of 10
21. Daddy My Love (Download
Another visual novel from Mr. Daisy Games.
1 out of 10
22. My Best Friend’s Family (Download)
Even for its genre, the game is boring and monotonous.
2 out of 10 points.
23. Everything Changes! (Download)
I find it hard to think of anything more banal and uninteresting than this visual novel.
1 out of 10 points.
24. Prison 69 (Download)
Better not end up in prison. You definitely won't like it.
3 out of 10 points.
25. A Day In The Park (Download)
Remember what I wrote about the game Everything Changes!? I've found something even more banal.
1 out of 10 points.

As requested by regular readers, I'm compiling links to the games I reviewed over 6 years.
